Hey gang!
I'm hoping everyone spent the cold December in the warmth of happy homes and holiday cheer! I'm also hoping everyone's lives are settling down a bit from how hectic a month December can be. Now that we're in January, it's time to get back into the swing of things! With that, I share my new year's resolution with you guys:
I want to produce a minimum of one illustration a week.
I'm posting it publicly so there's a public record of yes, Anna said she'd do this. I want to really push myself to be consistently working and improving. Despite my lack-of-posting in December, I have been feverishly working in my sketch book, inking, and brainstorming. I currently have two series-projects on paper and inked just ITCHING to be illustrated digitally! One of which, of course, is OLYMPIA HEIGHTS! Remember my Lewis Mercer illustration? No? Well, take a look: fav.me/d5q3oei The series will be the pantheon on characters in the story. And you haven't read Olympia Heights yet either? Well...*insert awesome promotion*Olympia Heights is a mad-dope book series (please excuse my slang; I assure you the book series is not written in my dialect) about teenagers discovering they may have more in common with the Greek gods than petty jealousies and out of control hormones. It's published by my dear friends at Matter Deep publishing: www.matterdeeppublishing.com/
The second series has been something of a secret, save for my siblings and my boyfriend. It's something dear to my heart and very nostalgic. I can't wait to begin posting for this series; I currently have 5 pieces inked for it. More to come soon!
Aside from these two projects, I do have one more series ruminating. The "secret" part of this project is the art style I have in mind for it, but I don't have a problem spoiling the subject matter: Doctor Who! I'll still include stand-alone illustrations, but I wanted to let y'all know what to expect in the coming months. Thank you for a fantastic year of art and for encouragement. Let's make 2013 even more beautiful and spectacular!
Much love,
Christadaelia

Removal of Adventure Space Time on Online Stores
In case anyone was interested in purchasing merchandise of my "Adventure Space Time" work, I'm sorry to say it is no longer available. A complaint was filed against the work on my Red Bubble page, and it has been removed. While I could challenge the removal (since I believe when you mash-up 3 subjects and use no trademarked fonts or logos, it's fair use), I don't wish to expose myself to possible legal recourse. So I am allowing it to stay removed, and I've also removed it from my Society6 page just in case whoever filed the complaint thinks I'm being dodgy. So I will no longer profit off a piece that I believe is well within fair use laws. I
Behind Schedule on Illustrations
Sorry for the lag in posts! I'm still holding to my resolution of an illustration a week, but two things have hung me up as of late: 1) a trip to California to visit the boyfriend, and 2) My immune system throwing caution to the wind! I've been battling different sets of symptoms lately, and one of them is eye strain. That's a useful ailment for an artist who works on computers! Positive side effect: I've been spending more time on piano and ukulele because they don't require much by way of vision! But I can't really post piano and ukulele stuff on DA...alas.
I'm taking proper measures to get the immune system back up and runnin', but for th
Free Signed Print Winner!
Sorry for the delay in announcing, but the winner of my free signed print is ~Kaysa (https://www.deviantart.com/kaysa)! Thank y'all again for all the views! I plan on doing a bigger give-away once I reach 200 watchers. Keep up the beautiful work, artists!
Much love,

Almost 10,000 Page Views! Signed Print Prize!
So I noticed my page view counter has reached a super-impressive number. ONLY 2 AWAY (so hopefully it'll hit 10,000 by the end of the day)! So I asked myself, "Self, should you do something to commemorate this?" And I think the best answer is yes, commemorate the tar out of it! If you think that 10,000 page views is a nifty accomplishment, drop a quick comment (could be anything..."How's it goin' girrrl?" "Cool job, lady!" "I'm hungry for bacon pancakes.") and you'll be entered into a drawing to get a free, signed print of your choice from me! Pretty sweet, right? I'm currently offering one print because I have no clue what the response will
